About Colours of Neo-Impressionism Watercolour Set

Inspired by the bold colours of the Neo-Impressionists, this exclusive set of half pan watercolour paints is handmade in the UK by LIlian May. The set includes cadmium yellow, cobalt blue, cobalt violet, viridian, Prussian blue, and cadmium orange, pigments preferred by artists of the period from Seurat to Pissarro. Each set is presented in a ceramic pan with an exclusive multicolour speckled glaze, a homage to the Neo-Impressionists' use of dotted colour. Made exclusively for the National Gallery to celebrate our exhibition Radical Harmony: Helene Kroller-Muller's Neo-Impressionists. Lilian May is a small creative studio that uses traditional crafts and natural materials to make high-quality, handmade and plastic-free art supplies. The family team makes each piece by hand in the Somerset studio. Each individual item is stamped by the makers.
